About the role

The VM / Ops Member is a critical role for Impart's volunteer recruitment efforts. Be the first point of contact for our applicants, and lead the first round of volunteer interviews.

Commitment

● 1-3 hours/week within the recruitment period

Responsibilities

Carry out the first round of volunteer interviews by
● Scheduling 30-45 minute interviews with volunteer applicants
● Documenting all information shared within the platform provided
● Accurately representing and share about Impart and the role(s) they signed up for
● Following the interview structure in order to get to know the applicant
● Noting down any questions that the applicant has during the interview, to be answered in the 2nd round by a staff member
● Informing the applicant of the upcoming steps
● Updating the Volunteer Management staff member upon interview completion
● Informing the Volunteer Management Staff member of any major concerns flagged up during the interview
● Ensuring that all prerequisites for volunteering can be met by the applicant (e.g, volunteer is able to attend training dates)

If needed, support recruitment efforts through
● Emailing relevant stakeholders who are able to spread Impart's recruitment collateral to their contacts
● Supporting recruitment booths

Requirements

● 18 years old and above
● Interest in Human Resources is preferred
